History
The KCMC University Convocation was established to create a formal platform for alumni, faculty, and stakeholders to engage in the growth and development of the institution. Rooted in a tradition of excellence, the Convocation plays a vital role in maintaining a strong connection between past and present members of the KCMC University community.

To be a center of excellence that fosters lifelong engagement between KCMC University and
its alumni, promoting academic and professional development for the betterment of society.

Mission
To provide an enabling environment for innovative and high-quality teaching, research, and
services that respond to national and global healthcare needs.
Main objective of the convocation
To establish a collaborative platform that actively engages Convocation members, and the Tanzanian community to support the University’s mission, enhance its objectives, and contribute to national development by 2030.

- To provide a platform for discussion on the University’s growth and academic matters.
- To promote the professional development of members.
- To support KCMC University’s core functions, including teaching, research, and community service.
- To mobilize resources through diverse and sustainable fundraising activities to support College programs and initiatives.
- To recognize and award outstanding alumni achievements.
